How to reach Villa Antè

The address is via Campia 52, 84012 Angri, province of Salerno. If you prefer coordinates for your satnav, they are 40.737719, 14.557200.

From the A3 Naples–Pompeii–Salerno motorway, take either the Angri or the Angri Sud exit: both leave you a few minutes away.

Parking is free, uncovered and reserved for guests, inside the property. No hunting for a space in the street, and no surcharge.

Naples-Capodichino airport is about 35 kilometres away: a little over half an hour by car when traffic allows. A taxi or a private transfer is the simplest option if you land in the evening or travel with luggage.

By public transport it takes two steps. The Alibus shuttle connects the airport to Napoli Centrale station in about fifteen minutes, leaving every 15-25 minutes from 5:30 until midnight. From Napoli Centrale you then take a regional train to Angri.

Angri has its own station, in corso Vittorio Emanuele II, on the Naples–Salerno line: Trenitalia regional trains stop here, frequently and in both directions.

From Napoli Centrale the journey takes under an hour; from Salerno, about half an hour.

The station is a little over a kilometre from Villa Antè. If you are arriving with suitcases, let us know and we will tell you the easiest way to cover that last stretch.

The stop is about a hundred metres from the property, on via Campia: lines 75 and 76 of Busitalia Campania call there. They are operated by the company that took over the services of the old CSTP, whose name still appears on many timetables in circulation.

For Naples this is the way we recommend: you get on right outside, without having to reach the station first, and line 75 terminates in via Galileo Ferraris, a short walk from piazza Garibaldi and the central station. Do check the timetables on the Busitalia Campania website before you set off: buses run less often than the trains.

High-speed trains run from Roma Termini to Napoli Centrale in just over an hour. From there you continue on the regional train to Angri without leaving the station.

By car it is roughly two and a half hours along the A1 and then the A3.

We can come and pick you up at the airport or at the station. It is a paid service and subject to availability, because it depends on how our day is going: it is not something you book from a form.

Fifteen minutes by car. Even less by train: from Angri, Pompeii is about ten minutes away, with frequent services throughout the day.

From Pompei station to the Piazza Anfiteatro entrance of the archaeological park it is 750 metres, a quarter of an hour on foot, walking past the Sanctuary.

One clarification that saves time: the station called "Pompei Scavi–Villa dei Misteri", the one at the Porta Marina entrance, is on the Circumvesuviana line, which does not pass through Angri. From our side you use Pompei station on the Naples–Salerno line.

Salerno is twenty-five minutes away. From there, between spring and autumn, ferries leaving from Molo Manfredi reach Amalfi and Positano: you skip the coast road, which is one long queue in the warm months, and you see the coast from the water.

By car, Amalfi and Positano are just under an hour away, Sorrento forty minutes.

We do ask you to tell us your arrival time at least 24 hours in advance. We are not a hotel with a reception desk that never closes: this is a home, and knowing when you arrive is how we make sure everything is ready instead of leaving you waiting at the gate.
